Travel note: Shanghai, by the Huangpu River, InterContinental Shanghai Expo. Among the eight cities I've lived in so far, Shanghai is the most unforgettable, especially the elegant charm of night Shanghai and the massive crowds from the Shanghai World Expo back then. This is my second time back here after nearly seven years away. From Pudong Airport, I took the maglev train at 300 km/h and reached the city outskirts in just ten minutes.
