Location: Nantou - Puli, Sun Moon Lake, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, dinner at The Lalu
Travel notes: Today, I went to Puli with my classmate Guo Xiaoping. We first visited the Earth Mother Temple and enjoyed the view overlooking Puli. After trying some 18°C handmade ice cream, we headed to Sun Moon Lake, which I hadn't visited in a long time. We took a boat from Shuishe Pier, rode the cable car up the mountain, and explored the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, which I hadn't been to in over 30 years. With almost no queues, we enjoyed rides like Spanish Coast, Space Mountain, Gold Mine, and Mayan Adventure. For dinner, we ate at the Chinese restaurant in The Lalu (around NT$1,300 per person). While admiring the lake and mountain views by the window, Xiaoping shared funny stories from his business trips to the U.S. when he worked at Micron. Another fulfilling day came to an end.
