Location: Nantou, Xitou Scenic Area
Travel Notes: Woke up a little after 5 a.m. today to accompany my parents for a walk in Xitou. In Taichung City, people over 65 get a monthly NT$1,000 subsidy for free public transportation, so we went to Gancheng Station and took the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus from Taichung to Xitou. Thanks to this benefit, the entire bus was filled with seniors over 65—except for me.
