Location: Taichung, 7 Doors Restaurant
Travel Notes: 7 Doors Restaurant is located opposite the Taichung Art Museum, along a green parkway lined with many restaurants, making it a hub for dining in Taichung. When I visited with new friends recently, I tried their Japanese teriyaki chicken rice bowl, which cost around NT$300 including service charge. The interior is bright and spacious across two floors. The name '7 Doors' comes from the owner's idea of seven spiritual outlets through music, coffee, food, magazines, and colors. While the atmosphere is nice and they use service bells, the food didn't quite live up to the price for me, but it's still a decent spot for gatherings.
