Location: Beta bistro, Qizhi District, Taichung
Travel note: Second visit to Beta bistro in Qizhi for dinner with Brother Gong. Taiwan is small—while eating, I got up to use the restroom and saw a familiar figure at the next table, but it was too dim to be sure. Called Maxim on Line, and yep, it was really my junior! Earlier, Brother Gong said it looked like him, but I didn't think so. The second glance made it clearer, and it actually was him. XD While eating with Brother Gong, I'd been messaging the junior asking if he'd be at Art Taichung tomorrow, and then we met here. He brought employees from their 333 Gallery and painter Rongyue for dinner. Taichung is also small—we still managed to run into each other! :P Turns out the paintings hanging in the restaurant were also sold from their gallery. Thanks for the treat, Brother Gong! Cheers!
