Location: Taichung, Central District, visiting a senior's home
Travel note: Taichung Central District, visiting a senior's home. This is the third consecutive year I've visited the old house of 72-year-old Senior Don (Weidao + Zhongyizhong) for Lunar New Year greetings. We also stopped by the nearby Wanchun Temple, a popular Mazu temple, to pray. Senior Don usually lives in the US or travels worldwide, but he always returns to his Taichung hometown for the New Year, and his classmates from various stages, including NTU, come to visit. So, every time I come, I meet many retired seniors. Today, I also saw a 30-year-old Moutai gifted to him during a visit to the Kweichow Moutai headquarters in 2005 when he was still on Wall Street. Counting the total time, this is truly a half-century-old liquor~ I always spend several hours at Senior Don's house, from afternoon until dark.
