Travel note: In the evening, I went out for a walk with my mom. After strolling around for a while, we ended up at this Hanlai group restaurant on the 15th floor of Chungyo Department Store. We ordered xiaolongbao, dandan noodles, pan-fried scallion pancake, and shengjianbao, which I occasionally ate when living in Shanghai. For dessert, we had taro paste xiaolongbao, honey osmanthus cake, pumpkin glutinous rice balls, red bean sugar cake... etc., paired with a pot of pu'er tea.
