Travel note summary: This used to be the private club of the heir to Bomi Fruit & Vegetable Juice, so the hot pot is positioned in the higher-end market. Manager Liang needed Kevin's help with something, so he asked me to organize this dinner tonight. With Xiao Wan and later Brother Gong, who rushed over after celebrating his child's birthday, there were five of us. Taiwan is small—Kevin and Xiao Wan coincidentally went to Hehuanshan and Wuling to see the sea of clouds just yesterday. We were in the same time and space, looking at the same scenery. And tonight, with three bottles of red wine and countless beers, it was another 'carpe diem' kind of night. Angus beef, premium seafood platter, secret-recipe pork large intestine... The hot pot per person probably costs around $600–1200 NTD, but with the alcohol added, it was another meal easily exceeding ten thousand. Thanks again to Manager Liang for the treat.
