Travel Notes: Kanpai Yakiniku (Zhonggang Store), Taichung, and CRU Wine Cellar in Qizhi (2nd visit). The third day of Lunar New Year. This was a rare reunion reconnecting after 30 years. Minyan is an old alumnus (Class 2) from my junior high school days at Weidao, commuting daily from Fengyuan. After that, we lost touch and hadn't met or reunited for 30 years. By chance, Qibin recently had eye surgery and met Minyan, a graduate of National Taiwan University College of Medicine, now an ophthalmology authority at Veterans General Hospital and Chung Shan Medical University. When Qibin mentioned me, Minyan actually remembered me, leading to this magical gathering of three today. With Minyan, we reminisced about DOS systems, Prince of Persia 2, Times Eagles baseball... all those shared junior high memories, truly joyful~ Then we continued at nearby CRU, which I hadn't visited in two years. Brother Gong, who also lives near Qizhi, joined later, and the beautiful Manman, whom I hadn't seen in a while, also came.
