Travel Notes Summary: Hao Tai Tai Bistro on Jianxing Road, Taichung (Thai, Yunnan cuisine). Had lunch with Alex at this bistro next to my home. The closer a place is to home, the easier it is to overlook. Turns out it's a pretty good spot. The owner said they operated on Taiyuan Road for eight years and have been at this Yongxing Street intersection for over three years. We ordered some dishes: cold mixed seafood, spicy and sour chicken, grilled beef, paired with another bottle of white wine Alex brought from Taipei—a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
