Travel notes: In the afternoon, I had coffee at Caffaina on Dadun Road with Gong and Steven. Gong left early for a dinner with friends from Xingfufa, so I asked Nancy. Her team had just held a U.S. real estate seminar at Millennium Hotel Taichung, and the whole FUNWOO team was gathering for dinner on Gongyi Road. I checked the location—it happened to be right next to Caffaina—so I brought Steven along to crash the party. FUNWOO's tech team comes from major Silicon Valley companies, using A.I. to disrupt the real estate brokerage industry, matching buyers and sellers with maximum efficiency. Nancy herself owns properties in Seattle, Beijing, and Taipei, has deep real estate insight, and has started collaborating with developers and landowners across Taiwan. Her carefully selected team is good-looking, emotionally intelligent, and highly capable. Bonding over drinks, thanks to Nancy for hosting.
