Travel notes: Two friends from Taipei came to visit me today—Ernie and my grad school classmate Mengsheng. I invited them both to meet at Brother Gong's company. I briefly explained how to use chips to pick stocks, backtest historical data, and then set up fully automated trading. After that, we all headed to Menjiang for dinner. Steven later joined us with a bottle of plum wine. Everyone at the table had some exposure to cryptocurrency, so we chatted freely about the future of the metaverse over drinks. Taiwan is always such a small place—turns out Mengsheng actually knows Brother Gong's second sister. What a coincidence! Thanks again to Brother Gong for treating us. Cheers!
