Travel Notes: Came down to Taichung from Taipei with my American friend Samuel for an event. To play host, first took Samuel on a TRA train, then ate Taichung meatballs, followed by afternoon tea at the Imperial Sugar Factory. Later, went to the Taichung Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Association on Sanmin Road for a seminar on investing in Poland. In the evening, had dinner with Samuel at an izakaya opened by a friend of Zixuan. Zixuan has great face—the owner treated us to three dishes. Thanks for the treat, Samuel. After dinner, took Samuel for a walk along Greenway, had a drink at Eslite Wine Cellar. Then went to have wine at Adam's place, whom I hadn't seen in a while. Zixuan joined us after his dinner. Yen, just landed at the airport, also rushed over. With Steven, five of us in total. Samuel opened a great Burgundy Grand Cru from 1999, then Zixuan reciprocated with two Burgundy - Côte de Nuits wines. Thanks to both good friends for the treats!…
