Location: A mysterious bar on Xiangshang Road, Taichung
Travel note: I was watching a Korean drama about time travel when Kevin texted, asking if I wanted to check out a mysterious bar. So I headed out and met Kevin, Xiao Wan, and Sandia (who happened to be nearby). The spot is on the second floor of a liquor merchant's place, with no sign—you'd never find it unless you knew. The four of us finished a bottle of Remy Martin VSOP. Later, Xiao Wan's friend James joined us. James works for a German machinery company, and like everyone else, he's grounded due to the pandemic. We chatted about his past business trips to the US and Southeast Asia. Cheers to fate bringing us together for a drink in Taichung! Thanks to Kevin and Xiao Wan for treating.
