Travel Notes: Even though I've been back in Taichung for a few months, it seems I still haven't met up with many friends. Tonight, I had dinner and drinks with my junior, Ying-An, whom I haven't seen in over two years. We met at a bistro on Dadun Road. She's currently working in Brazil for a unicorn company handling cross-border payments, responsible for the Asia-Pacific region. I heard many stories about her time in Brazil, and after my first cocktail of whiskey with shiso plum, I ordered another drink made with Brazil's base spirit, Cachaca. The cocktail had a hint of sugarcane flavor—rich and strong. It was a very enjoyable evening chatting; let's meet again next time! :) By Morgan @2020.6.20 evening
