Travel Notes: Had lunch with Brother Gong, Steven, and a friend of Brother Gong at a well-reviewed Italian restaurant. The wine paired with the meal was a white wine featured in 'Sex and the City,' with a guava-like fruit flavor and a smooth finish. The aged steak was also quite good. Thanks to Brother Gong for the treat. After the meal, we went to a nearby cigar lounge for cigars and white wine, and were joined by another friend of Steven's. Taiwan is so small; inside the shop, Brother Gong coincidentally ran into his friend from Hungful Development. This friend is usually in Kaohsiung or Taipei, but happened to be in Taichung today—what a coincidence! He generously gave each of us an expensive cigar, known as the 'Rolls-Royce of cigars'—Trinidad. It had a relatively elegant taste with a hint of sweet aroma.
