Travel Notes: Shin Izakaya on Dalian Road, Taichung (second visit). In the afternoon, I met up with Brother Gong, whom I hadn't seen in a while, for coffee at the Starbucks on Wenxin Road. We chatted from around 3 PM until past 8 PM, covering topics from Bitcoin, TSMC/ASML, and the current state of the construction industry, all the way to aliens, religion, and past lives. We just couldn't stop, so we moved to the small shop we visited together last time. We ordered some skewers and sake for a light drink. Brother Gong shared with me about the seven different health-beneficial oils he's been taking recently, including black seed oil, which have shown significant health effects. I shared with him my recent research and practical ventures into areas like digital currency spot-futures arbitrage, grid trading, liquidity mining, and NFTs. From blockchain DeFi to virtual game land auctions in The Sandbox, we talked until nearly midnight before parting ways. Thanks to Brother Gong for treating me to this meal.
