Travel note summary: After having coffee with Brother Gong at the Starbucks on Wenxin Road in the afternoon, we randomly found an izakaya nearby with good Google reviews for dinner. It turned out to be surprisingly impressive. The owner is Japanese and doesn't speak much Chinese, but the owner's wife is Taiwanese, so communication wasn't a problem. It's a small shop, very cozy. The owner believes cooking should come from the heart, hence the name 'Heart.' Coincidentally, Brother Gong and I were just talking in the afternoon about seeing the essence of things—not with the brain but with the heart. So there was indeed a缘分 (fate/connection) with this place. Food made with heart is truly delicious, paired with Sapporo draft beer, it was a satisfying dinner! By Morgan @2020.9.21 evening
