Travel Notes: Last night while playing badminton with Shengyan, he suggested we have lunch together today. But he said he was quite busy and could only confirm with me in the morning, so this gathering was finalized just after 12 p.m. Although some friends couldn't make it on such short notice, five of us ended up coming—just right for ordering shared dishes. Wondao is a Michelin Bib Gourmand-listed restaurant, but it's only been open for a little over three years. No wonder none of us, all Taichung locals, had heard of it. Its biggest feature is that it's a converted traditional Sanheyuan (courtyard house) serving shared dishes. The traditional dining room has become private rooms, and the courtyard is used for banquet setups. The menu mostly features traditional Taiwanese cuisine. Besides Shengyan and me, Qibin, Senior Zhihao, and Liu Naixin from the former Weidao Class 2 were also there.
