Location: Taichung Sun Cake Museum
Travel note: In the afternoon, I picked up the umbrella I left at Central Bookstore yesterday, then had some big noodle soup and stinky tofu on Jiguang Street. With nothing else to do, I decided to visit some historical buildings in Taichung. Starting from the birthplace of sun cakes on Freedom Road, I went to the very atmospheric Martial Arts Hall from the Japanese era, then moved on to the historically renovated Imperial Sugar Factory, and finally the Taichung Literature Museum on Lequn Street. I even circled back to Freedom Road for the Ruisui Stinky Tofu that only opens in the afternoon. After finishing all the sightseeing, I took a short walk along Green Park Way. Finally, back near home, I ended the day with a tonkotsu ramen from Menya Rokka. By Morgan @2020.11.8 evening
