Location: Chili's Indian Cuisine, Cunzhong Street, Taichung (second visit)
Travel note summary: At noon, I originally planned to go with classmates Shengyan and Qibin to eat the 900 NTD beef noodles at Gubami. But when we tried to book last minute, it was fully occupied, so we changed plans and ate at this Indian restaurant on Cunzhong Street that I'd tried before and is also on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list. I also wanted to invite another long-unseen classmate from Weidao: Weicen, whose family runs the Xiao Lin Pancake shop. However, Weicen said he's heading to Jiangsu this Friday to oversee the factory, and today he had to get a nucleic acid test and organize a bunch of things—he was just too busy. In the end, we could only have a brief video call. Weicen looks pretty much the same, just like he did in junior high. Wishing you all the best over there! After the meal, we went next door to Le Moût, which is in a trial operation phase before reopening in November, and bought some bread and toast. That wrapped up today's impromptu little gathering. Thanks to Shengyan for treating us! By Morgan @2020.10.28
