Travel notes: Had a long-awaited small gathering with Brother Gong and my junior high schoolmate Jiezhi from Weidao in the evening. We went to this highly-rated upscale steakhouse in the 7th District. It's close to both of them, each within walking distance from home. Including service charge, the dinner set ranges from about NT$2,000 to NT$4,000. We also chose a California Cabernet red wine to pair with the meal. The Angus ribeye steak we ordered was cooked perfectly, tender and sweet, not inferior to many high-end steak restaurants in Taipei at all. We chatted about all sorts of topics, from stock trading and tech development to human immunity and Ethereum mining rigs. From 6 PM until the restaurant closed at 10 PM, it was a very enjoyable evening. Thanks to Brother Gong for treating us. :) By Morgan @2021.8.11 night
