Travel Notes: Le Blé d'Or on Municipal Road, Taichung. Following our plan before the Lunar New Year to have a spring gathering with my Weidao junior high school classmates, we finally managed to get together today before work resumes. Out of 25 classmates invited, 11 showed up: Bo-Heng, Xin-Ming, Sheng-Yan, Cheng-Yuan, Jun-Fu, Zheng-Yi, Neng-Jia, Cheng-Lin, Huai-Yi, Dun-Tai. Besides the classmates who came last time at Dingyuan, a few long-lost classmates also updated us on their recent situations. Cheng-Yuan now runs a professional headphone shop on Meicun Road. Zheng-Yi has taken over the family business at Zhongbu Electric Machinery, one of Taiwan's top baking equipment manufacturers. And the most famous, Bo-Heng, besides being a well-known figure in Taiwan's racing scene, often makes the news due to topics related to the Wufeng Lin Family. Even though many of us hadn't seen each other in a long time, it felt like we were back in our twenties, reminiscing about boarding school memories, being hit by teachers, and of course, memories of the girls' class next door.
