Travel notes: After having lunch at a seafood restaurant in Xitun, I went to a clubhouse in Taichung in the afternoon to drink red and white wine and try cigars with friends. In the evening, another good friend John, who went abroad to study after graduating from Weidao, came back to Taichung from Hsinchu to meet me. So I invited Qibin, also a Weidao graduate, to come over and introduce them. Qibin's new book on convertible bonds is about to be published, and he recently has some collaborations with CMoney. Coincidentally, he's been interested in real estate investment lately, so he chatted with John, who has some experience. Also talked with John about several U.S. private companies he invested in this year. A fulfilling day. Thanks to all friends for the hospitality, a very happy gathering. By Morgan @2021.7.29 night
