Travel note summary: Had a small gathering here in the evening with Brother Gong and Steven. The manager Jimmy came over to toast, and after chatting, I found Jimmy to be very socially adept—he can talk about anything. The Techno Bistro we visited before was also opened by him. Besides being familiar with real estate like Brother Gong (they both bought apartments in Civic Ai Yue), Jimmy, who recently stepped down from the Lions Club, also knows the Lions Club president, which gave him something to talk about with Steven. He's also recently gotten into cigars, so he had common ground with Steven too. Originally in interior decoration and knowing many political and business celebrities, Jimmy is opening a private club in Taichung in March. Jimmy is also very business-savvy; for this Tipsy Corridor, he gathered 150 shareholders, each investing 50,000, but they bring their own connections and resources, contributing to the place's火爆 (火爆) popularity.
