Travel note summary: My younger brother is heading back to the Netherlands today. My in-laws came all the way from Tainan to Taichung, and both families had a simple home-style meal together. Yingci's family and relatives are all quite accomplished—some work at TSMC or Google, while others are still studying at the Institute of Life Sciences at National Tsing Hua University. Taiwan is still such a small place; during the chat, we discovered that Yingci's sister's husband, Zhijun, was actually a classmate of our cousin Jiaxin in the Civil Engineering Department at National Chiao Tung University.
