Travel Notes: Taka brought his wife Stella from the north to Taichung for a high-end health check-up. He invited me for lunch at noon. Taka also invited Paul, the CEO of Cybavo—a company focused on blockchain security that just secured $4 million in Pre-A funding—to join us and get acquainted. Although Paul is from Taipei, he owns property in the 7th Redevelopment Zone and happened to be in Taichung today, so it was a fortunate coincidence. Paul previously worked at Trend Micro and Beijing's Qihoo 360 antivirus software for many years, specializing in information security. They are currently looking for front-end and back-end engineers. After Paul left with his daughter, Brother Gong returned from Nantou to Taichung and joined us to chat.
