Location: Ichiran Tonkotsu Ramen, Chaofu Road, Taichung
Travel note: Ichiran Tonkotsu Ramen on Chaofu Road in Taichung. Drifted back to Taichung after a meeting in Taipei. Got off at Chaoma and thought, with the pandemic and it being a weekday, Ichiran might be less crowded, so I queued up to try it. Ended up still waiting over half an hour to get in. Orz While in line, I checked my preferred richness and noodle firmness on the menu. After paying, I got a solo seat—perfect for focusing on the ramen. XD When the ramen arrived, naturally I first tried a spoonful of broth. The rich tonkotsu aroma, paired with a bit of red spicy sauce, really whetted the appetite. I chose medium-firm noodles and took a bite with a slice of chashu. Overall, a bowl costing around 300 TWD was pretty okay~ :) By Morgan @2022.5.19 evening
