Location: Taichung, Wuqi, Lailai Seafood Restaurant
Travel Notes: Because I've been overseas for many years, I really rarely drive in Taiwan. Today, driving carefully and cautiously, I took my parents back to my maternal grandmother's house. Coincidentally, my cousin Mingxiu also brought his young daughters back from Taipei, so with Grandma, Third Uncle, Aunt, and Mingxiu's family, we came to this famous local seafood restaurant in Wuqi for a meal. At lunchtime, the huge venue quickly filled with a crowd. Eating seafood by the coast is really cost-effective. With a budget of just over 400 NTD per person, we got a table full of delicious dishes: sashimi, boiled white shrimp, steamed red snapper, chicken salad, stir-fried squid with basil, asparagus with scallops, sesame oil chicken, grouper soup... In the end, we couldn't finish it all and had to pack leftovers to take home.
