Travel note summary: It's been two weeks since the Lunar New Year. On my journey of learning a skill, I thought I had grasped some key points after success in January, but failing again in February made me realize it's all for nothing if my mindset doesn't keep up. Often, our biggest enemy is ourselves. Numbers can be calculated precisely, but human nature can't be quantified or fixed. Even the strongest technique requires solid mental fortitude to be used effectively. Because of this, I've been spending almost every night and all day on weekends practicing at home, observing, hypothesizing, simulating, and verifying, trying to find useful rules and establish a long-term SOP for myself. That's why I've rarely eaten out lately. However, I did meet up with friends during the New Year, so I'll jot that down.
