Travel notes: This Saturday, a friend came down from Taipei and invited me to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibition at the museum. So I went back to my home in Taichung but didn't stay long before heading out again. First, I grabbed a quick meal at a casual restaurant called Xinyuan near the museum, then went to the ticket booth. The Terracotta Warriors, flown in from mainland China, cost 200 NTD for a full ticket, with discounts at 150 NTD. Inside, photography was prohibited, so I could only take pictures of some commemorative images outside. The exhibition hall wasn't large—it took about 20–30 minutes to walk through. There were several warrior figures excavated from various pits, not just those holding weapons but also musicians, cranes, and other statues. Reading the wall descriptions while admiring these millennia-old artifacts, I saw standing and kneeling poses, some wearing armor or holding weapons, recreating the burial scenes of the past.
