Alex brought his younger son down from Taipei to Taichung for a stroll, so I played host and accompanied them to the museum to watch the 3D theater. Then we walked along the Green Belt to CMP Block Museum of Arts and had Cold Stone ice cream inside. In the evening, we went to a nearby alley to an izakaya called Chuan Feng, newly opened by a friend Shengyan has known for years. Then, Brother Xiao Ci came all the way from Changhua. After Shengyan and his wife returned from seeing the New Taipei Christmasland, they hurried over, covered in dust. Next, Brother Gong, after taking his family to pick strawberries in Dahu, Miaoli, also rushed over. Finally, Senior Peter, who lives near the art museum, came too. Everyone gathered with wine as the bond, drinking a red wine and a white wine that Alex brought from Taipei.
