Location: Taichung, Lao Xiang's Noodle Restaurant
Travel Notes: After shopping at RT-Mart on Zhongming Road with my family on Saturday morning, we headed to Lao Xiang's on Beiping Road for lunch. Despite arriving just after 11:30 AM, the place was already packed. The menu offers a wide variety: noodles like steamed duck breast noodles, clam noodles, and even French-style fried noodles, plus rice dishes, soups, and appetizers. We ordered sour cabbage lamb noodles, beef dough slice stir-fry, shrimp fried rice, chive dumplings, and more. The portions were huge and affordable—our meal for four cost less than NT$500. The food was above average for a noodle shop, with unique flavors. No wonder it's always crowded!
