Location: Taichung, Putien Singaporean Cuisine (Michelin One Star). Had lunch with my university classmate Junhong. He usually works at MediaTek's Singapore branch, so over the past year, we've met in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, or Singapore—otherwise, only during the New Year in Taichung like this could we catch up. Junhong is already very familiar and accustomed to Singaporean food, so he chose this new popular restaurant to compare. Hainanese chicken, golden lotus leaf buns, cereal squid, chilled durian... along with my brother, the bill for three came to less than 2,000 TWD. For a Michelin one-star branch, that's very affordable. Junhong shared about their recent factory setup in India for back-end IC design and lots of things about Singapore. Hope to see you next time!
