Travel Notes: Visited senior Don in Taichung, along with WINESWEE Taichung store, National Hotel FUNWOO club, and Niu Bar on Xitun Road. Senior Don is an alumnus from Weidao Middle School and Taichung First Senior High, investing globally in companies and real estate, and a major shareholder in some Taiwan-listed firms. He also manages multiple hedge funds and government pension funds in the US. Since he'll soon be traveling worldwide again, I caught him at his Taichung hometown at noon for a chat. He cooked some delicious food himself, paired with Hennessy VSOP, bourbon aged over 40 years, and an Argentine red wine. Over food and drinks, I sought his insightful views on world affairs, exchange rates, real estate investment, fund development, and more. Grateful to always have good mentors and seniors around, generously offering guidance, advice, and help. After leaving his place, went to the Green Belt area.
