Location: Taichung – This Pot Royal Secret Hot Pot & Yizhong Fengren Ice. Travel note: Had lunch with my university classmate Junhong in Taichung. He’s going back to work in Singapore in a few days, so we made time to meet up in Taichung to eat, chat, and catch up. Another classmate, Xiaomi, joined us after finishing her work. They now work in different departments at MediaTek, so they could also chat about the company’s recent situation. We talked all the way until past 4 pm. After Xiaomi’s husband Jack came to pick her up, Junhong and I continued to Yizhong Street to see our alma mater and have some Fengren ice, ending today’s old classmates itinerary.
