Travel note: Went out for lunch with my mom and little nephew. We ordered spring rolls, pad kra pao, spicy chicken, and shrimp cakes, plus soup, dessert, and drinks—a whole table of food for 370 NTD after a 12% discount. That's less than 200 NTD per person, and we even had leftovers to take home. It reminded me of living in Hong Kong, where 200 NTD would only get you a roast meat rice with a single leaf of vegetable. Prices in Taiwan are indeed much cheaper.
