Travel note summary: Taichung—Spicy hot pot with dual broth (Heng Ji: chain store). Today I returned to Taichung. Just now, to pick up my older sister who teaches part-time at Taichung Institute of Technology, I accidentally rode into Yizhong Street and almost got swallowed by the crowd :P. Since I'm in Taichung now, I'll write about a Taichung place today. Well, actually this place is a chain; it has three branches in Taipei and one in Taichung. The main store is in Taipei. The Taichung Jingcheng branch is at No. 9, Jingcheng 6th Street—just turn onto Jingcheng Road from Zhonggang Road, and turn left when you see 6th Street. It's all-you-can-eat for NT$300 per person; I'm a bit fuzzy on whether there's an extra charge. Sorry~ The hot pot ingredients are quite plentiful, with all kinds of meats and seafood.
