Travel note: Went to Nantou's Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village and Sun Moon Lake today with Xiao-Ping, a long-time classmate, plus Zi-Yu. We had an empty seat in the car, so last night I posted online looking for a travel companion—and actually found someone! Duo-Duo is from Hsinchu and moved to Taichung over two years ago for spiritual practice. He used to run several shops in Hsinchu. Believing everything is fate, I'm glad to have met a new friend and learned about a different way of life. In the evening, we went to the casual dining restaurant opened by Zi-Yu's aunt in Puli, called Bouchard Garden—good value for money. After returning to downtown Taichung, we disbanded, wrapping up today's trip. By Morgan @2021.3.10 evening
