Travel Note Summary: Taichung 89 King Crab (3rd visit), Taipei Okura Prestige Pearl Bar (2nd visit), Royal Hotel Ming Palace Cantonese Restaurant (2nd visit). Came to 89 on Taiwan Boulevard at noon to eat king crab, Japanese wagyu beef, abalone, and the most premium and expensive type of grouper, the mouse grouper... Thanks to Chairman Lin for the treat. Then, the same group went singing in the afternoon and drank Dalmore. We didn't battle for almost 9 hours like yesterday, so I could only stay for a bit before leaving early to catch the high-speed rail back to Taipei. In the evening, Sam & Monica and Nancy had arranged to discuss matters at the Okura. Rushed back to have a glass of white wine and join them briefly. In the evening, everyone went to eat at the Ming Palace in the nearby Royal Hotel. Coincidentally, I sat in the exact same seat as last time. Tonight's dishes—shrimp lettuce wrap, fried bean curd roll, mapo tofu, fried milk tofu... were all quite tasty.
