Travel Note Summary: My second visit to Cave de W Yanhuan Wine Cellar in Taichung. After drinking and having dinner on Liming Road yesterday, I was about to head home when I got a call from the staff at Cave de W. I thought, why not, and went to show some support with a drink. Inside, I chatted with the owner JR and his wife Lan Qing, and the more we talked, the more fun it became—the world of wine is truly fascinating. They, along with Attorney Dade, are all members of the same wine club. Plus, Qibin came to find me after rushing back to Taichung from a convertible bond investment lecture in Kaohsiung, asking about moving my blog. So, from around 8 PM to past midnight, we stayed at the shop. Thanks to Jacky, who came down from Taipei with South African red and white wines, I got to try a glass of white wine. JR also treated me to a French red. With his four high school classmates there last night too, it was such a joyful atmosphere—when you meet a kindred spirit, a thousand cups are too few!
