Travel notes: On a holiday afternoon, Morgan, Jidan senior, and a couple of friends went to the Jingming Commercial District for afternoon tea. We walked into a very quiet shop, as it's away from the main Jingming 1st Street thoroughfare, so it's rather deserted. Besides the counter, there are only four tables inside. Senior said his favorite kind of shop is one that's quiet with few people, and I feel the same way (laughs). Because he comes often, senior is already acquainted with the shop's hostess. After greeting her and sitting down, I ordered a hot chocolate ($150). I heard the shop's signature is a very large latte, but as a chocolate lover, I still chose this richly aromatic hot drink. Pouring the brown liquid from the pot, I took a gentle sip—it was mellow and sweet. Although I kept worrying about how such a quiet shop could stay in business, at that moment, the peaceful table quietly revealed the leisurely atmosphere among friends.
