Location: Taipei, Alley off Zhongpo South Road, Yaohe Sake Signature Bar
Travel Notes: After a meeting at the World Trade Center this afternoon, I realized it had been a while since I had Japanese sake, so I found a place and arrived right at opening time, 6:30 PM. It's a relatively new shop, over two years old, but located outside the city center in an alley, so it's very quiet. I was the only one there all evening until a Singapore Airlines flight attendant showed up. This Jason guy, who collects fine wines, visits here every time he has a night layover in Taiwan. We had a great chat, and he opened several bottles of sake worth thousands (NTD) for me and the staff. I ended up having 13 drinks here, Cheers! When I came back from the restroom, I was surprised to find that Jason had paid my entire bill. Later, Joey, who suddenly returned from Shanghai, also invited me for a drink, so we moved to Xiao Hei's place on Linsen North Road, 5th Alley. I was pretty drunk by then—thanks again for the treat, Jason! #YaoheSakeBar By Morgan @2025.12.11 evening
