Travel Notes: Jack, whom I met at an OffChain event in the afternoon, asked to meet up. We didn't get to talk properly last time, so today we slowly opened a bottle of red wine, ate some cheese, and had a good chat. Turns out Jack graduated from National Chiao Tung University, majoring in applied mathematics and also in the Department of Information Management and Financial Engineering under Professor Chen Anbin. He had spent many years at internet companies in Beijing before. Although Jack is only 32, he has strong opinions and ideas of his own and doesn't just follow the crowd. On a similar wavelength, we really enjoyed our conversation. After that, in the evening, I came to Nanjing Fuxing area with a female friend to check out this chain bistro—Scumbag Taiwan Bistro Dunbei San Zha.
