Travel note summary: At Kishu An Literary Forest on Tong'an Street in Taipei's Zhongzheng District. Hui Jin Tai and TIC are organizations for Taiwanese finance professionals working overseas in places like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. Since many returned to Taiwan for Mid-Autumn Festival, we held a long-awaited gathering today with about 60 attendees: from J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Anxin, Noah, Invesco, Allianz, Jianxin, Fosun... covering foreign to domestic firms, spanning primary to secondary markets, investment trusts, investment banking, securities, banks, from directors, CIOs, fund managers, CEOs, CTOs, COOs... across ages 30s, 40s, 50s, up to 60s. What we all share is experience working in overseas finance.
