Travel notes: After a meeting in the afternoon, came here for a drink. Ended up ordering a glass of Chablis white wine, and then several more appeared. Hit it off with David, a staff member I met for the first time. We chatted about several natural wine shops in Taipei: Dancing Elephant, Ken Nature, Xiao Quan, Jiemu Wine & Food, RVLT, Cafe Society, Vin Nature 45 Natural Yard, A Glass or Two, Clos & Cru Wine Bar... all the way to David having passed exams for Japanese Sake Sommelier and American ISG International Sommelier certifications. He also offered me tastings of a California white and a French Burgundy red. Coincidentally, the A-Pon Steakhouse I went to yesterday also sources their wine from here. A great wine merchant, so I added David's contact. He also invited me to a wine tasting event he's hosting at Black Horse Kitchen in December. After leaving, Andrew and Sam both reached out to hang out tonight, so Friday Night, we'll all get to know each other soon. Cheers~ :) By Morgan @2024.11.22 evening
