Travel notes: Came to Taipei on short notice to catch up with old classmates and meet new friends. In the morning, first met with Xiao Ni from KGI and Chris, who used to work at Compal and is now running his own startup, at a Starbucks near Linsen North Road to chat and network. At noon, met up with my long-unseen college classmate A-Fu for a meal in Xinyi District. Listened to A-Fu talk about the National Tax Agency big data analysis project they recently took on at Chunghwa Telecom, and his newfound passion for rock climbing. After eating, strolled around the nearby 44 South Village. Thanks to A-Fu for the treat. Life really flies by—in a blink, it's been almost twenty years since graduation.
