Travel Notes: In the afternoon, Yujia arranged to meet Howard and his son, Ethan (who is also Yujia's junior from high school in the US), to visit Owen's company in Xinyi District (Dahan Global Business Center). Flexiv is a unicorn company in the US. Seeing their latest robotic arm combined with A.I., capable of performing many delicate actions like pouring red wine, trimming plants, sorting food... was truly astonishing. Tesla is also one of their clients. Afterwards, we went to the cigar lounge next door. Howard is a super real estate tycoon with investments in many hotels in China and has enjoyed cigars for over 20 years. So, we came here to drink peaty whisky, smoke Cuban cigars, and chat. Thanks to Brother Howard for the treat! Later in the evening, I met with Senior Lman at an izakaya in the East District to catch up and exchange information. The food at this place was pretty good.
