Travel notes: Today, I moved almost entirely within a one-kilometer radius of Xinyi District. At noon, I had a simple lunch with Pat and Sam, who just returned from the US a while ago, at the basement of Breeze Songgao. Then Pat left for another meeting, while Sam and I went to the third floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A9 nearby, ordered some champagne, red wine, and cheese, and chatted about recent updates while drinking. Sam and his American friends are working on the African gold mine Kula DAO, which recently received funding from several major investors. This round has already raised 4.5 million USD, and things are going well. Sam will also fly to Dubai soon to obtain a license and then visit Zambia in Africa. And I only found out today that Sam, like Fred, also holds a Taiwan Employment Gold Card.
