Travel notes: In the afternoon, I met up with junior Edison, who once invested in over a hundred mining rigs and still holds plenty of ETH, to visit Ray at Matrixport and learn about their structured financial products, also touring Matrixport's WeWork office. WeWork has a spacious café on the first floor with many sofa seats, and after evening, happy hour with beer—exclusive for tenants, quite comfortable. Coincidentally, the family office Edison founded is one of the channels for the Richwell & DeFITs arbitrage fund, and Matrixport's Cactus is the custody platform for this fund. So we quickly connected. Taiwan is small; Tony and Ray, whom I've known for years, also knew each other from Hong Kong. Ray, just back from Token 2049 in Singapore, had met many friends there. So we chatted happily, time flew. The three of us also exchanged recent demands we've each received. Though online meetings are convenient, this kind of in-person meeting and communication feels more亲切 and irreplaceable. :P – Morgan, Oct 12, 2022
